The AZ-700 range, with its three existing sections that were launched during the last four years, has proven that ArcelorMittal is on the right track: optimized wider steel sheet pile sections with significant weight savings, in combination with excellent driveability and outstanding section properties. Innovation based on experience. It is now the turn of the AZ26‑700, the logical successor of the AZ 26, to take up the challenge.

 

The AZ 26‑700 is an optimization of the AZ 26, filling the gap between the AZ 18‑700 and the AZ 39‑700. Characterized by a common width of 700 mm (an increase of 70 mm compared to the AZ 26), it is available in all standard steel grades. Like any AZ section, it can be rolled in different thicknesses, the nominal thickness being 12.2 mm.

 

Compared to the existing AZ 26, for the same section modulus of 2 600 cm³/m, the new AZ 26‑700 is roughly 6 % more competitive.

 

The new AZ 26‑700 will be available in the second quarter of 2008, and the existing AZ 26 will continue to be produced until further notice.

La gamme AZ-700 dont trois profils ont été lancés durant les quatre dernières années, a prouvé qu'ArcelorMittal était sur la bonne voie: optimisation de la largeur utile du profil et économie de poids significative, conjuguant un comportement au fonçage et des caractéristiques techniques incomparables. Le lancement d'un quatrième profil est prévu cette année, il s'agit de l'AZ 26-700 successeur logique de l'AZ 26 actuel.

 

Cette nouvelle palplanche AZ 26-700 complète la gamme AZ-700 en se positionnant entre l'AZ 18-700 et l'AZ 39-700. Elle sera disponible dans toutes les nuances d'acier standard et comme tout autre profil de la gamme AZ, elle se décline en différentes épaisseurs, l'épaisseur nominale étant 12.2 mm.

 

Comparé à l'AZ 26 actuelle, la nouvelle AZ 26-700 se distingue par une réduction de poids de 6%, pour un même module de flexion, soit 2600 cm³/m.

 

L'AZ 26-700 sera disponible dès le 2^ème trimestre 2008, la production de l'AZ 26 actuelle est maintenue.

Basierend auf einer vierjährigen Erfahrung mit dieser neuen Spundwandgeneration, wird Anfang 2008 eine weitere Innovation eingeführt: die AZ 26‑700, das Folgemodell der AZ 26, wird in unser Angebot aufgenommen.

 

Die AZ 26‑700 stellt eine Weiterentwicklung der AZ 26 dar und füllt somit die Lücke zwischen AZ 18‑700 und AZ 39‑700. Die Profilbreite beträgt ebenfalls 700 mm (eine Steigerung von 70 mm gegenüber der AZ 26); des Weiteren sind alle Standardstahlgüten erhältlich. In Anlehnung zu allen existierenden AZ-Profilen, kann die AZ 26‑700 in verschiedenen Wandstärken produziert werden; die nominelle Wandstärke beträgt 12,2 mm.

 

Im Vergleich zur AZ 26 zeichnet sich die AZ 26‑700 durch ein 6 Prozent geringeres Gewicht bei einem identischen Widerstandsmoment von 2 600 cm³/m aus.

 

Die neue AZ 26‑700 ist ab dem zweiten Quartal 2008 erhältlich. Die Produktion der AZ 26 wird bis auf weiteres erhalten bleiben.
